Welcome to Breath: A Gateway to Stillness. This on-demand course introduces the foundational principles of Restorative Breathwork® and invites you into a deeper relationship with the subtle breath. Each module includes a short teaching, guided practice, and reflection to support your experiential learning.

Module 1 - The Fundamentals

We begin by laying the groundwork—introducing the core philosophy and framework that defines the Restorative Breathwork® approach. This module orients you to the structure and flow of a session and explores the spiritual intention that underlies the practice. Emphasis is placed on establishing a strong foundation for the journey ahead.

Module 2 - Opening To Stillness

This module initiates the experiential dimension of the course. We begin with gentle, mindful movement to prepare the body for stillness, followed by a guided process of systematic relaxation. This practice cultivates a state of alert receptivity—allowing the body to surrender while the mind turns inward, free of sensory distraction.

Module 3 - Breath Awareness

Here we explore the ancient practice of Breath Awareness—a refined method of turning toward the breath with quiet, attentive presence. This practice invites a shift in consciousness, offering a gateway to deep self-inquiry and inner harmony. As the breath softens, so too does the mind, allowing clarity, peace, and radiance to emerge.

Module 4 - Receptive Presence

This module invites a deeper inquiry into the breath’s interior landscape. Through contemplative breath practices and subtle self-inquiry, you’ll begin to identify and witness patterns of holding—those places where the breath meets resistance or fades from awareness. Meeting these spaces with compassion and presence initiates profound inner transformation.

Module 4 - Divine Stillness

At the heart of Restorative Breathwork® lies the sacred art of surrender—of releasing effort and resting in the breath’s natural intelligence. This module explores the dance between doing and undoing, guiding you into deeper states of silence and stillness. Within this spaciousness, the breath becomes a gateway to spiritual awareness and higher consciousness.

Module 6 - Completion and Certification

To receive your Yoga Alliance and IAYT Continuing Education Certificates, you must complete all lessons and self-study reflections, and submit a short essay reflecting on your experience of the Masterclass. Once completed, please email Kathleen directly to initiate review and receive your certificates.
